摘要 <p>A control system for controlling at least one industrial robot having a plurality of motors, the control system comprising: a current control unit (1) adapted to calculate control signals for the currents of said plurality of motors based on current feedback signals and instructions from a main computer, a drive arrangement (2;30-32;45-48) adapted to control the motors by generating variable alternating currents for the motors in dependence on said control signals from the current control unit, and an interface between the current control unit and the drive arrangement adapted to transfer said control signals from the current control unit to the drive arrangement and to transfer current feedback signals from the drive arrangement to the current control unit.
