There is provided an apparatus of transformer and manufacturing method thereof, in which a container of a transformer is configured to have a pleated structure such that cooling oil heated by the transformer can be effectively cooled and maintained at a proper operating temperature. In the apparatus of transformer, the container has a sidewall formed by a pleated case made of a plate, an upper plate closing a top of the pleated case, and a lower plate closing a bottom of the pleated case. The container accommodates the transformer and is filled with cooling oil to cool the transformer, and a terminal is electrically connected with the transformer and installed at the container.
