<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded marker lamp capable of suppressing a variation in the load on the tire of a vehicle in the vertical direction when the tire crosses it. <P>SOLUTION: This embedded marker lamp 1 comprises a lamp body 2, a prism 3 for restraining optical path, and a light source 4 disposed opposite to the prism 3. The lamp body 2 comprises a swelled part 6, a pair of light guide groves 7, 7 formed on both sides of the swelled part 6 and extending diagonally upward, and an internal space 8 communicating with the light guide grooves 7, 7. The swelled part 6 has a flat top surface 11, a first sloped surface 12 so linearly or curvedly formed as to be gently tilted from the peripheral edge 11a of the top surface 11 toward the outside of the top surface 11, and a second sloped surface 13 so formed as to be linearly tilted from the peripheral edge 13a of the first sloped surface 12 toward the outside of the top surface 11 at a tilt angle larger than that of the first sloped surface 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
