PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a desired air gap between a rotor and a stator which are stable and reduced in size to the utmost without being influenced by a part tolerance, related to a manufacturing method and a manufacturing system of an electric motor. SOLUTION: In order to manufacture the electric motor having the rotor and the stator which radially oppose each other, firstly the rotor out of the rotor and the stator which is arranged inside the radial direction is cooled (step 100), the rotor and the stator arranged outside the radial direction are assembled after cooling the rotor (step 110), the rotor is heated after the assembling (step 120), both opposing faces of the rotor and the stator are slidingly processed by relatively rotating the rotor and the stator after heating the rotor (step 130), and the heating of the rotor is completed after the finish of the sliding process (step 140).
