PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ARQ technique effectively utilizing a channel source while allowing flexibleness of scheduling. SOLUTION: There disclosed is an ARQ technique effectively utilizing a channel source while allowing flexibleness of scheduling. The ARQ technique is an asynchronous parallel packet transmission technique that uses a packet identifier, a sequence identifier, and a user identifier. The ARQ technique does not require the existence of a strict timing relation between a parallel channel and a physical layer frame. The reason is that the identifiers notify a user to whom the subpacket is directed, identity of the subpacket, and the sequence of the subpacket to the user. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
