METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATING QUALITY OF GRAIN AND DEVICE FOR SELECTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and surely discriminate all entries for quality of grains. SOLUTION: In order to clearly discriminate a "split-skin" and a "navel" which have not been discriminated by the conventional concentration level judgment, the "navel" is specified based on the number of crests, the width between adjacent crests each other in addition to the concentration judgment. This can avoid to erroneously discriminate the "navel" as the "split-skin". Moreover, discrimination efficiency and accuracy can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
