<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize the power consumption of each of a plurality of terminal devices of a communication system formed by connecting the terminal devices. <P>SOLUTION: In the communication system configured by connecting the plurality of terminal devices 20 each having a solar cell as a power supply into multiple stages, a terminal device 20(3), in which the power generation amount of a solar cell 24 has become not more than an estimated power consumption, switches a connection path through its own terminal device 20(3) to another terminal device 20(4).
