<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery with generation of short-circuiting between an exposed part of a cathode collector and an anode prevented, and that has high safety. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte battery is provided with a cathode 3, containing a cathode active material content layer 2 formed on a cathode collector 1; an anode 6 containing an anode active material content layer 5 formed on an anode collector 4; and a separator 7 arranged between the cathode 3 and the anode 4. The cathode 3 includes an exposed part of the cathode collector 8, having no cathode active material content layer 2 formed on a part of the cathode collector 1. At a part facing the exposed part of the cathode collector 8 and the anode active material content layer 5 each other via the separator 7, an insulation resin film 9 with a thermal resistance resin, having a temperature limit of 150°C or higher, is arranged between them as the base body. The insulation resin film 9 contains at least one kind of inorganic particle selected from among a group of aluminum oxyhydroxide, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, dawsonite, calcium hydroxide, zinc borate and talc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
