摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse measuring apparatus achieving enhanced precision of detecting a pulse in a situation where extraneous light is not received and a reduction in the number of light emitting elements and light receiving elements. <P>SOLUTION: The pulse measuring apparatus is equipped with a light emitting elements 21 for emitting light at a prescribed time interval, a light receiving elements 22 which receive the light through a living body and receive the extraneous light by interlocking with body movements of the living body, both a band-pass filter part 52 for extracting a first signal component in a range of a first frequency corresponding to the time interval and a low-pass filter part 53 for extracting a second signal component in a range of a second frequency lower than a frequency of a pulsation from light receiving signals outputted by the light receiving elements 22, an arithmetic processing part 60 for performing a frequency analysis on the first and second signal components to specify a body movement spectrum, and a quasi-extraneous light emitting part 25 for emitting quasi-extraneous light when the body movement spectrum is not specified. A pulse rate is specified from the frequency of the frequency spectrum excluding the body movement spectrum out of the frequency spectra contained in the first signal component when the body movement spectrum is specified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
