<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a person position estimating method using a plurality of human body detecting sensors for accurately estimating the position of a person in a region to be air-conditioned in a plurality of time zones of one day or weekday and holiday for efficient air-conditioning operation. <P>SOLUTION: The method uses the plurality of human body detecting sensors for partitioning a region to be air-conditioned into a plurality of regions depending on the position of a person in the region to be air-conditioned, preparing such a plurality of accumulated results that the reaction results of the plurality of human body detecting sensors are accumulated for a first predetermined time in the plurality of time zones of at least one day, and setting the regional property of each of the plurality of regions in the time zones in accordance with the plurality of accumulated results. It also sets in each regional property determining conditions showing the existence of the person depending on the reaction results of the plurality of human body detecting sensors for a second predetermined time shorter than the first predetermined time, and estimates whether the person exists in each of the plurality of regions or not depending on the set determining conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
