PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester which enables reaping operations to be carried out by operating only some of grain culm raise-up devices, having unreaped grain culms in reaped rows, while grain culm raise-up devices corresponding to the number of reaping rows can be each operated at a raise-up speed suitable for the property (a brought-down state etc.) of each unreaped grain culm of a reaping row. SOLUTION: The combine harvester comprises a traveling machine body 1 which is furnished with a traveling part 2, a reaping apparatus 3 that is arranged in the traveling machine body 1 so as to reap the grain culms, and a threshing apparatus 5 for threshing the reaped grain culms from the reaping device 3. The reaping apparatus 3 has a plurality of grain culm raise-up devices 223 corresponding to the number of reaping rows, so as to raise up the unreaped culms in a field. The combine harvester is also equipped with electric motors 90a-90f for performing drive for raising up corresponding to the same number of the reaping rows as the plurality of the grain culm raise-up devices 223, so that the grain culm raising devices 223 can be individually driven by the driving motors 90a-90f, respectively.
