<p>Disclosed is a bone metabolism-ameliorating agent which can ameliorate the bone metabolism in vivo in a chronic renal failure patient who has been received a blood purification therapy such as hemodialysis, hemofiltration or hemodiafiltration. The bone metabolism-ameliorating agent does not contain acetic acid and/or a salt thereof and contains citric acid and/or a salt thereof as an electrolyte, and further comprises other electrolyte and glucose singly or in combination of two or more of them. The bone metabolism-ameliorating agent can take the form of a dialysis solution or a replenisher in dialysis to ameliorate bone metabolism associated with low turnover bone disease, particularly adynamic bone disease or the like.</p>
