<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram type optical recording medium having a low error rate. <P>SOLUTION: In the hologram type optical recording medium provided with a first substrate having translucency and a refractive index n1 and made of plastics, a first adjustment layer provided on the first substrate, having a refractive index ns and adjusting the refractive index, an organic recording layer which is provided on the first adjustment layer and on which information is recorded utilizing holography and which has a refractive index n2, a second adjustment layer provided on the recording layer, having a refractive index ns and adjusting the refractive index and a second substrate provided on the second adjustment layer, having translucency and a refractive index n1 and made of plastics, n2≤ns≤n1 is satisfied, the film thickness k of the first and the second adjustment layers satisfies 5≤k≤200 nm and the refractive index ns of the first and the second adjustment layers is low on the sides coming into contact with the recording layer and high on the sides coming into contact with the first and the second substrates and continuously changes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
