<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a conventional art that an occupant's head contact a mounting fixture and a damage value of the occupant's head might increase when a vehicle rolls at the time of actuating an airbag device such as at the time of an accident because the mounting fixture is opposed to the occupant's head, and that a burden to workers increases because a clip is pressure fit while an airbag is temporarily mounted to a head lining which is an extremely large member and under a shielded condition that workers can not seen mounting holes from the workers. <P>SOLUTION: In this curtain airbag device, a folded airbag is arranged in a roof side rail part, and the folded airbag is covered with a cover member. Gas generated by an inflator is introduced in the airbag, and the airbag is deployed like a curtain.
