<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eaves gutter apparatus capable of storing and holding a strip body such as a strip illuminant formed by connecting a light source such as a miniature bulb or an LED in flexible strip shape, at the outer peripheral surface of an eaves gutter body according to the season of Christmas or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The eaves gutter apparatus A provided with a recessed groove 2 in the longitudinal direction of the outer peripheral surface of the eaves gutter body 1 is constituted by holding the strip body 5 in the recessed groove 2, and engaging the strip body 5 detachably with the recessed groove 2. Preferably, locking pieces 21, 22 facing each other vertically are provided at the opening end of the recessed groove 2 so as to project along the longitudinal direction of the eaves gutter.
