<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the turning property of a four-wheel drive vehicle by improving responsiveness of a motor torque control. <P>SOLUTION: When a four-wheel drive vehicle 100 of which front wheels 12, 13 are driven by an engine 15 and of which rear wheels 22, 23 are driven selectively by a motor 25 is turning, this controller calculates the target vehicle speed achieving neutral steering based on the vehicle state of the four-wheel drive vehicle 100, calculates the target motor torque of the motor 25 required for achieving the target vehicle speed, and calculates the d-axis current and the q-axis current in the vector control technique to drive and control the motor 25. The motor 25 is driven and controlled so that the torque of the motor 25 be the target motor torque based on the calculated d-axis current and q-axis current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
