<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell equipped with a semiconductor electrode with improved electron conductivity and with excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency, especially, with short-circuit current improved. <P>SOLUTION: In the dye-sensitized solar cell provided with a metal oxide semiconductor electrode made of metal oxide with dyes absorbed on the surface, a charge transfer layer, and an opposing electrode in that order on a conductive base material, the metal oxide contains needle crystal of alkali metal titanate having a platinum-group element on the surface and alkaline earth metal titanate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
