<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a coating process, while settling a gap amount between an ink jet head and a panel for display within a prescribed range, even when it is difficult to detect the gap amount. <P>SOLUTION: The gap amount between the ink jet head and the pane for display is detected using a plurality of gap detection means, while controlling relative position relation between an inkjet head unit and a stage, by controlling the frame and the stage and the height position to the stage of the inkjet head unit is stored by associating it with relative position relation between both so that the detected gap amount is settled with the range of the prescribed gap amount. The coating process is performed, by controlling the relative position relation between both of the frame and the stage by controlling them and controlling delivery states of the plurality of ink jet heads, while controlling the height position of the inkjet head unit to the stage so that the height position becomes the one preliminary stored as the height position in the relative position relation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
