An air sterilizing device is provided to inhibit generation of scale during electrolysis, to increase the interval required for exchanging water, and to realize simple softening of water. An air sterilizing device(1) comprises a blower(21) and a gas-liquid contact member(31) in a casing, wherein indoor air sucked by the blower is caused to be in contact with electrolyzed water by the gas-liquid contact member so that the air is sterilized before being emitted to the indoor space. The air sterilizing device further comprises: a water tank(41) for storing water; a water holder(44) for temporarily collecting the water discharged from the water tank; a circulation pump(42) for pumping the water from the holder; an electrolyzed water generation section for producing electrolyzed water from the pumped water; a refluxing path for refluxing the electrolyzed water in the order of the gas-liquid contact member and water holder; and an ion exchange resin pack disposed inside the water tank away from the refluxing path to adjust the hardness of the water.
