PURPOSE:To perform thread ending easily and reliably thus to improve safety by guiding the ending thread to a thread pass tube through which a thread bundle is passing and an ending thread guide then twisting both members through compressed air and cutting the excessive portion of ending thread through thread cutting means. CONSTITUTION:A thread bundle 4 will travel continuously through a thread pass tube 11 while the ending thread is guided manually or through a handheld thread guide into said tube 11 then taken through an ending thread guide 16 to a dust thread taking system. Upon function of a valve fixed to a compressed gas feed tube 18, compressed gas is ejected through a compressed gas ejection port 13 to contact the ending thread 9 with the thread bundle thus to twist them. The twisting point 19 will move to the right as the thread bundle travels, where the ending thread 9' is contacting with a thread cutting means 15 provided between said guide 16 and thread bundle at the downstream of twisting point. Upon elapse of time, the excessive portion of ending thread is cut through a thread cutting means thus to complete thread ending. |
