A turbine component (20c) includes a coolant passage (42) and a plurality of trip members (50) that extend within the coolant passage (42). Each of the plurality of trip members (50) includes an orientation relative to an expected flow direction through the coolant passage (42). At least three of the trip members (50) have orientations that are different from each other. For example, the orientations of the trip members (50) may progressively transition along the length of the coolant passage (42).
