PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine shortening a time by reducing the number of correcting times of unbalance and also suppressing vibration when starting spin-drying. SOLUTION: This washing machine includes a vibration detecting means 17 for detecting the vibration of a receiving tub 13, an unbalance amount estimation means 20 for estimating the unbalance amount according to the output of the vibration detecting means 17, and a control means 21 controlling a motor 12 based on the outputs of the vibration detecting means 17 and the unbalance amount estimation means 20; and the control means 21 allows an unbalance start-up correction means 22 to execute a disentanglement process after a washing process based on the output of the unbalance amount estimation means 20 and, in the disentanglement process, executes a first disentanglement step while continuously rotating the motor 12, and a second disentanglement step for executing a different operation from the first disentanglement step.
