Use of an extract obtained from yeast belonging to genus Pichia, comprising mannan, in a cosmetic composition for restructuring the skin

Use of an extract obtained from at least one yeast belonging to genus Pichia, having a content of mannan of at least 30 wt.% of the dry weight, in a cosmetic composition, for restructuring the skin, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) restructuring cosmetic active ingredient obtained from the yeast; (2) obtaining a restructuring cosmetic active ingredient, comprising enzymatic hydrolysis of protein of the yeast; and (3) restructuring cosmetic composition, containing 0.01-20% of the extract obtained from Pichia. ACTIVITY : Dermatological. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Fatty acid transport protein-3 stimulator. The ability of the extract of Pichia(concentration of 0.30%) to stimulate the expression of fatty acid transporter protein was tested in normal human keratinocytes. The result showed that the percentage of expression was 133%.
