PURPOSE: A method for providing broadcasting information of a broadcasting receiver is provided to display detailed meaningful information of text information if a specific number of the display text information is selected, thereby maximizing education effects for an education broadcasting program. CONSTITUTION: Text information is extracted from received broadcasting information(S202). Numbering is performed about each text information so that each number is given(S204). Information for each number and text information corresponding to each number are displayed(S208). If the displayed text information is selected, detailed meaningful information of the text information is displayed(S212). |
