PURPOSE: An artificial disk is provided to prevent wearing of upper portion of a housing by friction between an upper plate and lower plate. CONSTITUTION: An artificial disk comprises: a disk body(110); a hollow housing(120) formed at the upper portion of the disk body; a lower plate(100) having an elastic insertion body(130); and a upper plate(150) which is mounted at the upper portion of the lower plate and is engaged with the upper portion of the housing. The disk body is made of titanium and cobalt chrome.
