PURPOSE: A hinge apparatus and a mobile communication terminal having the same are provided to selectively restrict the operation of a hinge by using a cam structure. CONSTITUTION: A shaft(110) is coupled to a fixing cam and allows the rotation thereof, and the both ends of a torsion spring(150) are fixed to the fixing cam and the shaft respectively. A sliding cam(130) is coupled to the shaft in the axis direction and allows the sliding operation thereof. A projection facing an inclination unit is formed in the sliding cam, and a compression spring(152) is interposed between the sliding cam and the shaft in order to press the sliding cam to the fixing cam side.
