PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically removing soot of a water tank smoke tube in midsize and large boilers is provided to operate coil-shaped removing units with low power by connecting all coil-shaped removing units to a vertical operating frame. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically removing soot of a water tank smoke tube in midsize and large boilers comprises a coil-shaped removing unit(4), a vertical operating frame(10), and a hydraulic cylinder(21). The coil-shaped removing unit is inserted inside a number of connection pipes of an upper water tank(2). The coil-shaped removing unit removes soot of the smoke tube through vertical operation. The vertical operation frame corresponds to the smoke tubes and crossly connects vertical and horizontal connecting rods. The hydraulic cylinder is connected to a hydraulic motor(20).
