FIELD: physics; optics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to distributed-feedback (DFB) lasers in which the Bragg grating used is a two-dimensional photonic crystal. The crystal substrate used is an opal matrix with 108 nm or 238 nm spheres and orientation of the surface (111), on which a sublayer of silicon dioxide of thickness 150-250 nm is deposited through magnetron sputtering, on top of a zinc oxide layer of thickness 120-140 nm and the samples are then calcined at 800C for 5 minutes. ^ EFFECT: lower threshold of generation, simplification of technology of making the laser. ^ 1 dwg |
