FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises two groups of draw-bars arranged space apart to allow rods of one group to be located between rods of another group, rods drive and draw force controller. Smooth adjustment of said force in wide range of draw forces is possible due to arrangement of two groups of fan-likely spaced rods on drive drum surface. Note here that the rods of one group are mounted between rods of the other group. Note also that generating lines of rods in every group that face the drawn wire are inscribed in conical surface, with conical surfaces of aforesaid groups intersecting.
