PURPOSE: A control method of the clothes treatment device is provided to detect a malfunction of the device using at least one temperature information data. CONSTITUTION: A control method of the clothes treatment device is as follows. A heat pump(22) drives in order to check a malfunction of the heat pump using at least one temperature information date of the heat pump. The temperature information is the refrigerant temperature of a heat exchanger comprised the heat pump. The temperature information is one among the refrigerant temperature of the heat exchanger at an outlet site of the heat pump, the refrigerant temperature of an inlet site of a condenser(28) of the heat pump, or the refrigerant temperature of a compressor(26) of the heat pump.
