PURPOSE: A coupling device for a trailer is provided to prevent minor collision with a vehicle adjacently parked and improve vehicle fuel ratio when parking the vehicle in a limited space by fixing the king-pin of the trailer on a coupler of the trailer. CONSTITUTION: A coupling device for a trailer comprises followings. A coupler(30) is coupled on the rear part of the vehicle body of the trailer to open the rear part in order to be connected to the front part of the trailer. The king-pin(40) is mounted on the front part of the trailer to be connected to the coupler and is inserted into the coupler of the tractor and is fastened by locking a locking bar. A hanging groove(42) is formed on the king-pin. A stopper is inserted into the coupler, so, in case the trailer moves backward, the stopper(100) moves forward and is inserted into and fixed on the hanging groove and the free rotation motion of the king-pin is stopped.
