<p>The machine (1) has a foot receiver (6) for a foot (3), where the foot receiver is rotatable around a movement axis (4) that is equivalent to an anatomic/functional joint axis of an ankle joint (2). The foot or the foot receiver is vertically movable into a plane of a foot sole (5) or a support plane of the foot receiver for projecting the movement axis into the planes during deviation of the foot receiver around the movement axis.
