PURPOSE: A recording device with a reservation function and a method for controlling the recording device are provided to control an output power source depending on the variation of detected temperature and voltage from a product being tested. CONSTITUTION: A recording device(100) with a reservation function comprises a power supply unit(110), a reservation setting unit(120), a power control unit(130), a relay unit(140), a sensor(150), an A/D convertor(160), a recording unit(170), an output unit(180), and an output control unit(190). The reservation setting unit is located between the power supply unit and the power control unit to output to the power control unit: an on/off control signal for the recording unit, operating reservation time setting information, operating function information, and an operating control signal of the recording unit. The power control unit operates the relay unit to control the power source applied to a testing product(200) according to the operation control signal outputted from the reservation setting unit, so the power control unit controls the power supply to the testing product through on/off switching. The relay unit comprises at least one of a relay or solid state relay or transistor, and performs an on/off switching operation following the on/off control signal from the power control unit. The sensor is installed in a predetermined position in the testing product to detect temperature or other changes to the testing product. The input terminal of the output control unit is connected to the output terminal of the A/D convertor, and the output terminal of the output control unit is connected to the output terminal of the reservation setting unit in parallel and also connected to the power control unit. The output control unit controls the operation of the power control unit to increase or decrease output of the power source. |
