<p>In a converter motor, a fan shroud radially surrounds a motor with a brake. The fan shroud is formed in two parts, wherein a tubular part at one axial end is closed by a cover which has an air guide ring. A motor connecting box is formed on the tubular part and contains the converter electronics. The converter electronics are connected to the motor via a connecting channel, wherein the connecting channel, the stator housing and the tubular part are manufactured from one casting. The tubular part has reinforcing ribs, which run axially on its inner face, in order to hold a motor fitting option which is provided instead of the cover.</p> |
