PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the protein of an organism, having an activity controlled by a ganglioside, and elucidate the acting mechanism by selecting a peptide bonding to the ganglioside by carrying out a panning by using a monomolecular film of the ganglioside. SOLUTION: A peptide bonding to a ganglioside such as ganglioside GMI is selected by carrying out a panning by using a monomolecular film of the ganglioside by a phage display method. In the panning operation, the bonding behavior of a phage to the monomolecular film of the ganglioside is preferably monitored by using a crystal oscillator, and a peptide having one of amino acid sequences of formulas I to III is preferably bonded to the ganglioside GMI. |
