The headrest has a base part (1) and a headrest carrier part (7), where the base part is arranged on a stay bar (2). The levers (3,3') are moved by a transfer unit. A transfer device is provided for simultaneous pivoting of the levers relative to the base part by an operation of the transfer unit.
