PURPOSE: A hydraulic machine with an anti-over-slope apparatus is provided to prevent the over-slope of a swash plate due to a stopper that limits the movement of a slope piston when the hydraulic machine rotates. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic machine comprises a casing(2), a rotary shaft(3), a cylinder block(4), a piston(5), a piston shoe(6), a swash plate(11), a slope piston(13), and a movement limiting unit(17). An auxiliary flow passage(1) is formed on the casing. The rotary shaft is fixed and crosses the casing to be rotated. The cylinder block is integrated with the outer surface of the rotary shaft. The swash plate comprises a first incline(7) contacted with the piston shoe, and a second and a third inclines(8,9) selectively contacted with the inner wall of the casing. The swash plate rotates around a swash plate support point. The slope piston is moved by working fluid supplied through an auxiliary flow passage to change the tilt angle of the first incline. The movement limit unit limits the movement of the slope piston within a fixed range to prevent the over-slope of a swash plate.
