A female connector contributive to space saving and low profile of the connecting portion thereof comprises a flexible insulating film, a plurality of pads arranged on one side of the insulating film, a female terminal consisting of an opening formed at a position on one side in the plane of the pad to penetrate up to the other side of the insulating film, and a spacer bump standing at a position corresponding to a position on the other side in the plane of the pad in the other side of the insulating film and having a base connected electrically with the pad.
