PURPOSE: A dialing method in which various dialing methods are varied easily and facilitating dialing operation is provided to easily select a receiver by converting various dialing methods by one touch input. CONSTITUTION: A dialing type is selected as a first mode and a dialing screen is displayed(S602). In case a name search mode is selected, the dialing screen is displayed(S607). In case the name retrieval mode is not selected, a plurality of soft keys is displayed(S625). If a user inputs a name, the dialing apparatus displays the searched telephone number(S626). The user practices the dialing operation(S627).
