<p>PURPOSE: A method and a device for encoding/decoding voice signal are provided to determine variable bit considering reserve bit which is obtained based on a target bit rate. CONSTITUTION: A closed-loop pitch search unit(207) determines an pitch index. A fixed codebook search unit(209) determines an code index. A gain quantization unit(210) determines a adaptive codebook and a gain VQ index of fixed codebook. A bit rate control unit(101) encodes linear prediction coefficient quantization index, the pitch index, the code index, and the gain VQ index by a variable bit rate.</p> |
