PURPOSE: A rack bar supporting device of a steering apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent a gap enlarging by automatically compensating as much as a worn amount if a support yoke is worn. CONSTITUTION: A rack bar supporting device of a steering apparatus for a vehicle comprises: a support yoke(310) which is inserted into a cylinder(250) of a gear box(130) and whose front surface supports a rear surface of a rack bar(140) which has an insertion hole(315); a support plate(320) which is inserted into the cylinder of the gear box and separated from the rear surface of the support yoke and has a through hole at the center; a first elastic supporter(340) whose one end is inserted into the insertion hole of the support yoke and the other end is combined with the front surface of the support plate; a yoke plug(330) which is separated from the rear surface of the support plate and combined with the cylinder of the gear box and has a supporting part(335) which is inserted into the through hole of the support plate; and a second elastic supporter(350) which is combined between the support plate and the yoke plate.
