FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: shut-off throttling valve consists of case, of seat installed in case, of slide connected to rod, of cover, of journal box and of drive mechanism. The valve is equipped with a guiding cartridge with openings; the cartridge envelops the slide. The seat is made convergent with perforated surface. The cup of the slide has even streamline shape with perforation openings. The openings are arranged in form of concentric rows in its lower part and are at acute angle relative to lengthwise axis of the valve. ^ EFFECT: reduced level of noise and vibration. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg
