FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises casting 50 mm-thick slab and features mass flow rate representing a product of speed and ingot thickness, (v ù d) 350 m/min. It comprises also turning the slab from vertical position into horizontal position and milling it at miller in slab feed direction after casting machine.
