PURPOSE: A contents use period control method in a mobile communication terminal and a system thereof using contents are provided to receive new contents which a valid time is set at a time for opening a service of a mobile communication terminal subscriber. CONSTITUTION: A contents use period control method in a mobile communication terminal(200) is as follows. It determines whether the subscriber is a new subscriber through the caller identifier of a subscriber identity module. If so, the new subscriber recognition is notified(S310). A content is received from a contents server(210). The contents use is limited in a valid term according as the contents use is expired.
