<p>There is provided a system and method for playing audio from a media source on a television during a music-on-mute function. More specifically, in one embodiment, there is provided a method, comprising receiving a signal with a video portion and an audio portion, determining whether a music-on-mute function is active, playing the audio portion of the signal if the music-on-mute function is not active, and playing an audio file from an alternative media source if the music-on-mute function is active.</p> |
