<p>The system (1) has a yarn processing machine i.e. ring spinning machine (2), including a mobile cleaning unit (3). The cleaning unit has a base unit (4) moveably arranged on the machine in a machine longitudinal direction (35). The cleaning unit has a cleaning line movably guided together with the base unit along an operating position, in the direction. Infrared sensors (17a, 17b, 18a, 18b, 19a, 19b) detect operating and/or machine conditions e.g. spindle speed, of the machine and are arranged on the cleaning line or a holder connected with the base unit or the cleaning line.
