PURPOSE: A blade edge replaceable tip with a nick for a cutting tool is provided to reduce cutting resistance by processing cut swarf with a nick cutting edge and suppress the vibration by reducing impact during cutting. CONSTITUTION: A blade edge replaceable tip with a nick for a cutting tool comprises a side surface(3), a top surface(1), a cutting edge, and a plurality of nick grooves(8). The side surface forms a rake face. The top surface forms the flank face. The cutting edge is a ridge of the location in which the side surface and the top surface intersect. A plurality of nicks groove divides the cutting edge into a plurality of sections. The width of the nick grooves gradually increases toward the end.
