A collet assembling device of a nipple is provided to prevent the end portion of a collet from being hung at the entrance of a nipple body. A collet assembling device of a nipple comprises a feeder, a transfer cylinder, a lifting member(57), a holding member(1) and an operating unit. The feeder is installed at a base, and supplies a collet sequentially. The horizontal movement of the transfer cylinder is restricted, and the lifting member is installed at the transfer cylinder. The vertical movement of the lifting member is restricted by a vertical cylinder, and a chuck that grips the collet is installed at the lower portion of the lifting member. The holding member is installed at the lifting member, and is arranged adjacent to the lateral sides of the chuck. When the collet is grasped, the operating unit pressurizes the outer plane of the collet by the holding member. The operating unit separates the holding member from the outer plane when the collet is separated from the chuck. |
