<p>The retarder has a ring (2) provided for displacement of air in a torus (1) of a stator (4) and/or a rotor (3). The ring is divided into segments over its circumference. Two parts of the ring segments are provided at the rotor and the stator, respectively. The ring is designed as a hollow body or a solid body and exhibits an elliptical, round or polygonal cross section. The cross section and/or the diameter of the ring are variable implemented over the circumference. The ring and the ring segments are soldered or welded with blades (5).</p> |
