The device forms a column for the treatment of water and the body of the column is divided into three compartments by two filters. The two lower compartments are charged with cationic exchangers with the lowermost compartment being weakly acidic and the other one strongly acidic. The uppermost compartment serves to dissolve the solid regeneration material periodically inserted. |
